General Terms and Conditions

I. General
These terms and conditions apply to the rental of hotel rooms and seminar rooms, as well as to all related hospitality. The content of these terms and conditions takes effect after a booking has been confirmed.
Supplements, changes and ancillary agreements of any kind require our express written confirmation to be legally effective.
a) The customer and the organizer are jointly and severally liable as the customer for all obligations arising from this agreement.
b) Subletting or re-letting of the event rooms requires the written approval of the hotel.

II. Prices / terms of payment
a) The agreed prices are inclusive prices, but without visitor’s tax. An increase in the value added tax after the conclusion of the contract is at the expense of the client. This also applies to an increase in the local tourist tax.
b) If there is a period of more than 90 days between the conclusion of the contract and the date of the event, the hotel reserves the right to make price changes without prior notice.
c) The hotel’s invoices are payable immediately without deduction.

III. Advance payments / cancellation by the hotel

a) The hotel is entitled to demand an amount of up to 50% of the room rental or room rental immediately after the conclusion of the contract.
b) If this advance payment is not received on the hotel’s account within 2 weeks of being requested, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract.
c) It must notify the client immediately of the exercise of the right of withdrawal.

I. V. Cancellation / withdrawal by the client
a) If agreed and provided services are not used by the service recipient and the service provider has no possibility of subcontracting these services despite demonstrably reasonable efforts, a cancellation fee may be charged.
b) If an event cannot be carried out without the hotel being responsible for this, the hotel retains the right to payment of the rent, depending on when the event is canceled and what additional services, in particular meals, were provided the hotel is also entitled to appropriate remuneration. The amount of the rent and the remuneration result from the order confirmation or the booking confirmation of the hotel according to section 1 and the following explanations to section 4 of the general conditions. The organizer reserves the right to provide evidence of lesser damage.
c) The hotel’s claim in accordance with Section 4 of these conditions is currently:

Standard rate:

7 days before arrival or in the event of no-show 90% of the agreed hotel price

Non-Refundable Rate:

From the booking date 100% of the agreed hotel price

V. Loss of or damage to items brought along

a) The hotel assumes no liability for the loss of or damage to objects or exponents brought by the client.
b) The objects or exhibits brought along are at the risk of the client in the premises allocated to him and must be removed immediately after the end of the event.
c) If the hotel procures technical and other equipment from third parties for the client, it acts in the name and for the account of the client; the client is liable for the careful handling and proper return of these facilities and releases the hotel from all third-party claims arising from the provision of these facilities.

VI. Liability of the client for damage
The client is liable for all damage or loss to the building or inventory of the hotel-restaurant as well as to third parties caused by him, his vicarious agents, visitors or other third parties in his area. This even without proof of guilt.
